Healthy Eating Tips for Winters 1. Drink warm soups instead of hot chocolate, coffee, tea etc. With so many veggies available in winters you can make these hot steaming and delicious nutritional power houses like tomato, beetroot and carrot soup or spinach corn soup etc 2. Eat gur(Jaggery) instead of serving your sweet cravings with sweets daily as gur will serve your seet cravings as well as it will provide warmth to your body. Can also add crushed coconut to it. Coconut also brings warmth to our body. 3. Drink Luke warm water instead of cold water as, in this freezing cold, cold water can disturb our digestion and can cause constipation. 4. Drink herbal teas like green tea, chamomile tea, rosemary tea instead of tea and coffee. No calorie, loads of nutritional goodness and warmth. Still will you have coffee? 5. Make this at home and have it once in a day. It will give you enough warmth and is nutritious also. Grind 5 almonds, 5 pistachios, 2 munakka and 2 black pepper. Have half spoon of it daily. 6. Have honey in luke warm water if you have to go out in the cold for work. All moms can give this to their kids when they go to school early in the morning.
