Sitting on the couch trying to unwind from a hard day at work. I start thinking this is one if the last nights I will be coming home from my job. I will be leaving my job to have surgery on my shoulder in a few weeks. My doctor informed me that recovery from this surgery may take more than 4 months and I may not be able to go back to my job. For the past 4 years I have been with some of the same people each day at work. I have come to love each an everyone of my residents as if they were my family! I know u can visit them at any time but its still not the same. I have always loved helping and caring for others. I will not only miss them but the staff as well. We have become like a big family. I hope and pray I can go back to doing what I love!
