Heard From God, Yet? Have you been seeking Gods will in your life for a certain thing? Now, perhaps, you are thinking that you have heard from God; but, you are unsure? Do you want to be able to discern the voice of God? And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. 1 Kings 19:12 (KJ2). God speaks softly to our hearts, as well as in dreams and visions; but, we must be quiet to hear Gods voice. He speaks in dreams, in visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they lie in their beds. Job 33:15 (NLT). Of course, satan, also speaks to us; and we need to be able to know WHO spoke to us. The message, to be of God, has to line up with the bible and its teachings. When satan fell from Heaven, he took one third of the angels with him. There are possibly billions of fallen angels on earth speaking lies into the ears of humans. God backs His Word with peace and contentment. Do you feel good about the message? You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Isaiah 26:3 (NLT). Does the message frustrate or confuse you? For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints. 1 Corinthians 14:33 (ESV). It is wonderful to hear from God, whether by the small voice inside of us Christians through the Holy Spirit, or by visions, or dreams! The closer we get to God, the better to hear His voice. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. James 4:8 (ESV). If the message that you heard was a life changer, you may want to pray and fast before making any radical changes in your life. But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; in those days they will fast. Luke 5:35 (NIV). Many times, the Lord will confirm His Word or dream with a similar experience. If you are unsure, pray and ask God for confirmation. Also, you may want to seek godly counsel from a minister. So is My word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 (NIV).
