Hearing. How does it occur? Hearing occurs when sound waves travel into and through our ears and then turn into nerve impulses. These nerve impulses are sent to the brain, which then, in turn hears them. Hearing screenings are done to evaluate possible hearing loss in anyone who has noticed a persistent problem in one or both ears or has had difficulty understanding words during conversations. Its known that hearing loss increases as we age and will happen to almost all of us. On Tuesday, April 8, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Ron Howard, with Howard Hearing Aid Outfitters, will be here to perform FREE hearing screenings for us. These screenings will be done in our Private Dining Room to ensure quietness for the screens to take place. Coffee and donuts will be provided as well!
