Hearing a lot about wintry precip this week? Heres the skinny: Today/tonight some freezing rain is possible well west of the MetroPlex, but should not be a concern. By late Wednesday (NYE) and into early Thursday, some light drizzle could match up with freezing temps, causing a minor freezing rain scenario. The good news with this is 2-fold: 1) Its not a lot of rain. 2) Its not very cold. I would be on the look-out for slick spots on bridges and overpasses Thursday morning. By mid-morning Thursday temps will be warm enough to support just rain... not freezing rain or any other sort fun, and it will be another rainy one on Friday.
