Heart touching Lines from Bina Hasina :) EID.... After a whole month of fasting comes Eid, a joyous celebration for Muslims around the world.. Children soo excited wearing new clothes, given presents and money.. Families getting together to celebrate with different foods and lots of laughter.. This Eid seems to be an occasion where there is no laughter to be had, not a joyous occasion.. How can we enjoy when there is soo much bloodshed around the world..? How can we enjoy when our brothers and sisters are being killed around the world..? This Eid is all about praying,making dua for the people of Gaza, Syria, Bangladesh, Kashmir,Afghanistan and many more.. A test for all Muslims.. Tears are falling, children are dying... Parents soo helpless.. Its killing them inside.. A daily battle of the conscious.. Will today be the day that the bombs rain down on us.? What answers can they give their loved ones... Children without families and mothers without their children.. Fathers, brothers all lost or unaccounted for.. Murdered in the most horrific way.. Is this the reality of the world we are living in.. When did humans totally lose their hearts.. When did humans become soo ignorant to the helpless tears of people being tortured.. Please when celebrating Eid this year take a minute to reflect on what is happening around the world.. Today its happening to them.. Tomorrow it will be us.. The need to educate the generations of tomorrow is overwhelming...So they can carry on fighting this battle that is amongst us.. A battle to bring peace to the world.. A battle to show the world the wrongs of the people who are supposed to be the ones looking after us.. To eradicate the evilness.. Pray for a united peaceful world.. A world which we can only dream of at the moment...
