Heartwarming story from a wonderful FARR foster mom. By opening up their homes to foster, foster families play a critical role in the rescue chain. Being a foster means rescues can pull another dog from the pound, therefore saving a life. It is incredibly rewarding to foster, as you will see in Jamies story below. People always say I could not do that, I would want to keep them all! Well, many of us have adopted our fosters and are known as foster failures! However, we continue to foster and substitute joy for sadness when our babies are adopted because we know they are going to a good home and we saved a life.
