Hearty Congratulations to the Australian Rugby League team, the Kangaroos, on their very emphatic thrashing of New Zealand in the World Cup Final held early this morning. I am so glad that I stayed up to watch the game. However, it is so very unfortunate that the team had to put up with such an absolutely disgusting and pathetically amateurish excuse of a ground at Old Trafford. The in-goals were only 4.5 metres long adacent to a steep downward slope leading to concrete, open drains and ponding water. This caused injuries to several players on both sides. Shame on you, pommie organisers for providing such an absolute garbage of a Z-grade ground for such an important event. I suggest that you stick to pommie soccer a la Manchester United on this disgusting ground and forget about any Rugby League events there. I hope that the Australian officials noticed what was happening and arrange to boycott this revolting, repulsive, sickening, ghastly and abhorrent excuse for an important sporting venue for evermore.
