Heated exchange. Ben Affleck accuses Sam Harris of bigotry. Perhaps Sam is too even-handed with Israel & not sufficiently so with Islam? Chris Hitchens addressed the problem succinctly, without bigotry: Help the moderates defend themselves from the atavists, the (crypto-)fascists, the theocrats. But then we can claim the same sentiment for any cultures struggle with reactionary forces anywhere (*cough* Tea Party *cought*). As for Harris, hes a work in progress - if he wants to put his foot in his mouth I can usually count on him to learn from the experience.
