Heaven Got an angel this morning - Aunt Barb went home to be with God Ps Sam & Sarah dont know they are going to school we will tell them later. Years later my Aunt and I have a relationship but it took time because of family dynamics. She has always been the tie that binds a dysfunctional family together the best she could, giving unconditional love to each member no matter what, her door always open to all. The unsung hero of the Howard clan. I love her so much she is a beautiful person who has been through so much. I am blessed now to have her in my life. Though we dont talk or get together nearly enough. Added the day I found out she only has 5 - 6 weeks to live due to lung cancer 03/10/14 The sadness that fills my heart today overwhelms me .... the cruel way life can bring someone into your life just to take someone so precious and needed away is so unfair. One of the only rocks I have had in my life today we are told you only have a short time left with us.. Im afraid to cry, to feel knowing that that the grief will overtake me but I cant let it, I cant show you how my heart is breaking because its my turn to be strong for you, to take care of you and to help you pass from this world to the next knowing you were loved & special. When you leave you will never be forgotten you will forever be written in the layers of my heart and in the pages of my life!
