Heavenly Father, we humbly come before You. We completely surrender and submit ourselves to You. We recognize that it was You who woke us up this morning and carried us through another day. Lord, we understand that our daily hardships are opportunities to learn and mature, but we occasionally have moments when we become disheartened because at times, we have difficulty seeing the big picture and understanding the full plan that You have designed for our lives. We see the scattered pieces, but only you can place the parts of the puzzle together. Lord, forgive us for those times when we allow doubt to overtake us. Forgive us for those times when we placed all of our confidence in people, but failed to fully trust in You. Forgive us for those times when we didn’t seek You as we should and attempted to repair things ourselves. Forgive us for those times when we followed our own fleshly desires and failed to seek and remain in Your will. However, Jesus, we ask that You help us in all of these areas. Lord, we desire to give you full, total, complete, control because humans cannot fix it. Only YOU can. Jesus, we ask that You make us stronger each day – stronger than we were the day before. We ask that You lighten heavy hearts. Cure insecurities. Ease worries, fears, and anxieties. Remove doubt. Lord, we request that as some of us prepare for bed, you lighten the heavy load that may be weighing us down. We ask that Your tranquil presence fills the homes of each person who reads this. Wrap them in Your love, and we claim a peaceful night of sleep. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
