Heavy heart today thinking of a baby angel, Max, that I had the honor of knowing when he was a sweet, smiling, happy hearted child. His brother Dillon and him taught me how to hit my first snowboarding jump on a day that has always been pegged in my mind as one of my all time favorite babysitting days. I remember that I was going through a tough time at that young point in my life, trying to find my own path and way-and to me, that day has always represented a break in that; having pure Adirondack fun with two lil fun loving, great natured souls. Furthermore, Max and Dillons mama, Ruth Pino is one of the smartest, most humorous, and strongest women whom I have had the pleasure of learning from thus far in life; whom was my toughest boss, an inspiring mentor, and who became a friend. Her relationship with Max and Dillon has always been admirable and inspiring. As we get older, the most heartbreaking hits are when someone younger than us goes to heaven first. I cannot attend Maxs service today, and Facebook is an immediate way that I can send a vow out into the universe to, in Ruths words, give love and friendship unconditionally, and to give my heart fully to all endeavors I am lucky to get the opportunity to live for; in Maxs, and anyone who we have lost along the ways honor. The stars shine brighter with you up there, Max. Even one day with a kid like you can remind us to live a better life.
