Heavy rains cause flooded streets across the West Side. The Newman Post Office was forced to close its lobby on Thursday afternoon as water from the deluge began to enter the building from the buildings rear alley. Rain is expected to continue through the night until 11 a.m. Friday. Forecasters have issued flood advisories across the northern half of the state for areas near creeks and streams.
