Hech, hech, hech.. I am steadily killing and contradicting my much earlier post about not ever posting enough~ So yeah, heres a bit of a rant: You know what I /personally/ believe to be a rather large issue these days? The fact that people are so hooked on Hyperboles. Everything is either HELL YEAH or HELL NO. And that pisses me off. Because things arent black and white, things are a spectrum. A vast, endless, imagined spectrum conjured forth from our minds. Just because I dont think America is the greatest place on Earth doesnt mean Im against it, just because I dont want to sign up for some Feminist movement doesnt mean Im against Feminism, just because Im not going to donate to some world help organization does not mean I dont care about the world, just because I think most of the Star Wars Expanded Universe sucks really badly, doesnt mean I hate it, or think it should be ignored. Just because Im an Atheist, doesnt mean I think the whole entirety of Religion is silly and dumb and that it should all just be disregarded and that everyone should be Atheists. Look, Im not saying everyone needs to be a neutral even-steven like myself who really just enjoys poking fun at both sides of any discussion (or, however many sides there may be). But why do people have to react to heated? So based purely off of some unscrutinised emotion? It aint always gotta boil down to You v.s. Them.
