Heeyyyyy foxxxy laaady! NIXIE STYLE! (Sorry! I had to!) A big thank you to the ever lovely facebook/skeeterbugphotography! *Once again this paint is nontoxic, dye and lead free, hypoallergenic and organic with a vegetable and water base. Nixe loves all the attention, for this fox look I did four 10-15 minute sessions and massaged everything in by hand (you should see me hands, Nixe washed clean but my hands definitely didnt!!) then finished with a small soft microfiber cloth to achieve the soft look. The hardest part is ALWAYS the tail! Nixe just wags it so hard! I have to pause and wait, and Im laughing at the same time, and then my laughing makes her go in for a kiss attack! Its really a very vicious cycle! Id quite truly never, ever put her through any of this if it even bothered her in the slightest, she is not forced to stand still, ever. In our Search and Rescue work our relationship is built on trust, let me repeat that-- our relationship is entirely built on trust, if I EVER did anything to her, that hurt her or bothered her, Id be completely undermining that.
