Hell ISAIAH 14:14-17 = Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. ISAIAH 24:17-23 = Fear, and the pit, and the snare, [are] upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth. EZEKIEL 26:19-21 = When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, EZEKIEL 28:6-9 = They shall bring thee down to the pit, EZEKIEL 31:13-18 = When I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: EZEKIEL 32:18-32 = The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell REVELATION 9:1-11 = And the fifth angel sounded, and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. Hell = the name of the subterranean region, doleful and dark, regarded by the ancient Greeks as the abode of the wicked dead, where they suffer punishment for their evil deeds; it answers to Gehenna of the Jews; to thrust down to Tartarus, to hold captive in Tartarus.
