Hell all THE BOARD of The Namba Distrit 13 already vote to change the mimimum of race that the racers needs to participate to qualify for the Caribbean RC Boat Championship. From Two races the racer needs to participate minimum of Three of Fouth races to Qualify. District 13 Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands 2014 Caribbean Championships The organizing committee of the 2014 Caribbean Championship is formed by the commodores of the participating clubs, NAMBA members and the NAMBA District 13 Director. The members are: Commodore : Rey F. Medina - District 13 Director Vice Commodore: Burton Edney - St. Croix RC Boat Club, U.S.V.I. Secretary: David Thomas - Tortola RC Boat Club, B.V.I. Purser: Edgardo Negron – Caribbean RC Boat Club, PR Rules Chairman: Dr. Giovanni Gonzalez - Caribbean RC Boat Club, PR Safety Chairman: Luis Ayala - Caribbean RC Boat Club, PR Pit Marshall: Raymond Doway – St. John RC Boat Club, U.S.V.I. Official Scorer: Kim Huish - Tortola RC Boat Club, B.V.I. The event: The Caribbean Championship is a four event series, with one race celebrated at each of the participating clubs. The dates for each event have been set by the committee and are as follows: March 29 - 30 . 2014 St. Croix, U.S.V.I. June 21 – 22, 2014 Puerto Rico August 9 – 10, 2014 Tortola, B.V.I. October 4 - 5, 2014 St. John, U.S.V.I. The championship will be raced under the 2014 NAMBA rules. All Participants have to be members of NAMBA. All clubs and race sites will be register with NAMBA. 4 heats per class for the championships It is required the participation on at least three events to be qualified for the championship points. The classes participating for the championship; are: Open Mono, Open Cat, Open Offshore and Super boats. The participating clubs will provide information on transportation, hotels and local transportation for each event.
