Folks...well have more Facebook only last minute give-a-ways all Summer long....so stay tuned! The prizes wont always be Brockton Rox tickets.....free family bowling comes to mind. And never on a schedule. Sometimes I just get in the mood. But in between my exciting give-a-ways, youll need to go grocery shopping. When you do at Trucchis, your hometown supermarket right in Abington, youll need to do two things. First is to drop your penny hoard off at the service counter for the Abington Lions One Million Penny project for the Abington Library. Then make sure you say hi to our friends Ken and Karen. They are members of the Lions too. As has happened several times during this penny project, if youve got so many pennies you cant lift them...then you call me at Timber Lanes. Ask for Phil, 781-878-0219....and well come right to your home and pick them up! Twice someone has called, and they had over 15,000 pennies...almost 100 pounds each! Hard to believe in only a few months we are over 600,000 pennies!!! Once we reach a million, they will be put on display at the library for a month for all to see. I wont go then. By then Ill have seen enough of pennies :-) Thanks for your help and support!
