Hello Again! Im in the mood for round two of track tidbits. Voices is the fifth track on History and probably the oldest. Actually, we had been experimenting with it very soon after we had recorded our first EP Steady. It was one of those tracks where we continually visited it, but always seemed to find precedence in our places. We kept it in the back of our heads for quite a while, not quite sure what to do with it. Eventually, As the rest of History was getting closer to completion, we realized that Voices would actually be a very appropriate fit on the album and we dove right back in. It was actually the last song to be finished, despite its early conception, right after Ad Nauseam. I find it very interesting how this song translates to certain people and what they think it entails. Its always a wonderful time to hear those interpretations, so I almost find it an injustice to really elaborate on what sparked the lyrics. Though the themes in this song explore my experiences with a very specific person. Take from that as you will!
