Hello All. Heres 5 photographs of Nick Jones & 3ft gauge, Fowler Marshall Diesel locomotive on it first outing at Welland 50th Anniversary Steam Rally in July of this year 2014. The Fowler Marshall Diesel Locomotive. The Fowler Marshall Diesel Locomotive were built form 1949 to 1952. This loco was fitted with a 40hp single cylinder Marshall diesel engine, and was available in gauges from 1ft-11-3/4in to 3ft-6in. There were 46 locomotives built by John Fowler & Co in Hunslet, South Leeds the remaining 43 locomotives were sent abroad to country like Bulgaria, Africa, India, South Africa and the other 3 locomotives were built for the U.K. to be put into the British industrial narrow gauge railways scene.
