Hello, As president of Black Women for Political Action I think one of the most important things I can do is invite you to run for office. I believe in your leadership and your power. Women have to be invited to run for office and this is your invitation. I want you in the seats of power. I know firsthand how scary it can be to put yourself out there but you will truly make a difference for your community. CPWPA is proud to partner with Emerge Colorado. Emerge Colorado recruits and trains women to run for office. You should apply to be in the next class of Emerge Colorado. In the Emerge class you will gain all the skills you need to run and win, from fundraising, field planning and communications. Additionally, Emerge Colorado will connect you to a powerful network of women helping women win and your class will form a powerful co-hort of support.
