Hello DSS members! We are happy to announce our Annual General Meeting will be held on 25th September at 3pm in HE2.017. At the AGM you will hear a summary of this year with the DSS and our plans for the upcoming year. It will also be a great opportunity to get involved and join the DSS committee. Positions available are President, Treasurer, Secretary, Vice-President Activities, Vice-President Careers and Education, and Vice-President Marketing and Communications. There are officer positions available for the activities and careers-ed portfolios. To nominate, please email deakinsciencesociety@gmail with your full name, student number, course, year and the positions (up to 3) you are interested in nominating for. Nominations close 3pm Tuesday 24th September. Please prepare a 1 minute speech detailing why you are interested in the position and what you could bring to the 2014 committee.
