WOW!!! There is little question in my mind that this courageous womans words could have done me a world of good as a timid, introverted youngster. Let me assure you all that the pain & heartache a bullied child experiences is VERY much real. I was extraordinarily blessed & fortunate to have kind, compassionate and supportive family members & friends to help me cope.Furthermore I was able to cultivate a sense of humor & sublimate my fears, resentments & insecurities into physical fitness, which has served me well in my advanced years. But lets hope that kindness, compassion and empathy make a BIG-TIME comeback in todays snark-obsessed, disaffected, materialistic world. The ethereal must prevail over the ephemeral.
