This Hida area has their unique traditional song MEDETA and theyve been singing this song for special ceremony such as wedding party to celebrate. Now. my high school friends Kenta Nakanishi and Shunsuke are hosting a workshop to learn this MEDETA song from Shunsukes prandpa! Isnt it beautiful to learn something from your granpa?!!! Im so happy to have them as my friends. They are supporting our home town! 私の地元岐阜県の飛騨地方には、「めでた」といって、 古くから伝わる唄があります。私は地元にいる時はその存在を知らなかったのだけど、結婚式などのお祝いの席で歌われてきたそう。地域によって独特の歌いまわしがあったりと、個性もそれぞれ。若い人のめでた離れも目立つ中、高校時代の友人2人(健太君とイモッチ)が地元を盛り上げるために立ち上がりました！彼ら、M soul brothers (MはMEDETAのM)が今回、皆でめでたを学ぶために招待したのはイモッチのおじいちゃん、俊さん。こちらがワークショップの様子です。 頑張れ、みんな！応援してます！ 地元love~
