Who In Their Right Mind Would Join a Multi-Level Marketing Company for Retirement Income? Part 1 I have been reading a lot about retirement income these days and even 16 year olds are catching onto the buzz words. I am never gonna have a 9-5 work schedule ,and I will be my own boss and make lots of money while building residual retirement income. Blah, blah, blah. Is this possible with direct selling, network marketing or MLM opportunities? There are lots of opinions on this like everything else in life. Well, economic experts predict that this industry is ready for massive growth over the next decade. Why? Your parents and actually you are close to broke when it comes to retirement savings. Many have lived a life of necessity and been forced to live month to month on their income. Many never thought it was important enough to set aside money into a 401-k. This is a tragedy but a common mistake that starts when you are 20 years old. The result is that the average young-un like me that reaches 50 is just that and has 50 k in retirement savings. Well, I can tell you as a father of 3 who still has 2 wanting to go to college, have their own car, and just have a good time, I might feel underwhelmed with this nest egg. What would you do if you had $50,000 as your retirement nest egg and were 50 years old?
