Hello Everyone, First off, Id like to thank the administrators for approving my request (thank you Adam Banz). I am a third-year Digital Cinematography BS student, attending online at Full Sail University. I can really appreciate a group like this; now that Im getting closer to graduation (A Honor Roll. Yay!) a lot of my assignments require me to project-plan, and film subjects more often now; and since I dont know many people here in Las Vegas, and my few family and friends are sick of always being my subject, its getting harder to meet my assignment requirements. I look forward to volunteering some of my time as well, to help others achieve their goals, as well as gain the on-the-job experience, at the same time. Moreso lately, Ive also been working a lot more paying gigs; sometimes they need a 2nd camera-operator, or another tech/specialty job. Again, since I dont really know anybody, I can usually never give a referral. I really look forward to meeting the rest of you members. I wish you all the best in all of your future endeavors!! Also; I hold meetings at my office, once a week; for a group that Im trying to start called OFSAA (Organization of Film Students and Aspiring Amateurs). The name of the group doesnt matter to me; its all based on the same concept as Las Vegas Film Jobs Paid & Non Paid. Its about building a community of people with ideas, like minds, and the willingness to offer what we can, to help each other achieve our Dreams & Goals - its about reciprocation.
