Hello Everyone, I have just set up a petition that I hope you will be able to sign. When you do, please tweet @calloutthicke @mtvuk #callitout to show your support. Share far and wide please. We are calling on MTV to #callitout and make a public stand against the promotion of the album Paula to recognise that it is part of a dangerous, obsessive and abusive campaign by Thicke to put excessive pressure on Paula Patton. If MTV and the celebrities who supported the #callitout campaign believe in what they say, they will speak out today. As shown by their own campaign, the influence these celebrities and MTV has is huge- let’s #callitout and not let Thicke let his abusive campaign penetrate mainstream media in our society that is all too accepting of these attitudes. Let’s use MTV’s own hashtag #callitout to get our voices heard. Thicke’s campaign of abuse is not acceptable and should not be promoted by a channel that say they stand against relationship abuse. We are aiming for 5000 signatures, the number of tweets MTV aimed for with their campaign
