Hello Everyone! Im working on a show that opens on Thursday, January 22nd, at The New Ohio in the East Village. The play is called The Human Symphony and its produced by The NYNeofuturists! Human Symphony is a mosaic of first-hand accounts of online dating experiences, as well as a discussion of what the internet means to different people. In short, its stories about strangers meeting on the internet, performed by strangers meeting in a theater. Strangers, you say? Yes! This production is performed by a different cast every night, comprised of select audience members at each performance. Directed solely through instructional mp3 tracks, these “performers” are guided through a theatrical Rube Goldberg experience, while the remaining audience members listen to the stories that the instructional choreography illustrates.
