Hello Everyone! My Next Con is MAGFest, however, I am not planning on making anything new for that one (Although my new project would be appropriate). I will be finishing my bow for Lady Sylvanas & other than that I will be wearing several of my past cosplays! :) New cosplays for 2015 will debut for Katsucon!! And I have already started because I am so freakin excited about it! This is an idea that sparked in my head last October! It has been sitting on my brain for over a year and I will finally make it happen! (Hopefully). I am addicted to the Super Mario Series. LOVE IT! Mainly because it was the first video game (Super Mario World for SNES) that I EVER played! Ive wanted to do a Peach cosplay for quite sometime and I love her classic gown.....but I thought one day, what if Princess Peach became super tired of being labled a Damsel in Distress and being the rescued all the time. I envisioned her standing in her castle and just cutting up her girly girl ball gown, adding some armor (complete with Koopa Shells as Pauldrons) and READY TO FIGHT! AKA Warrior Princess Peach. I know this battle armor EVERYTHING is kinda becoming a trend in the cosplay world...but I like it and I like re-imagining a popular character and putting my own spin on it. It is EXTREMELY important to me to stay true to who the character is and incorporating elements that would SCREAM Princess Peach and the Super Mario World. I have sketched out the entire design, but I will wait to debut that for later. BUT here is a peak at the project! The breast plate is now complete and ready for priming and painting! I hope you like the idea and not hate me for changing such a well known character!
