Hello Everyone, We are fourth year psychology students at the University of Ballarat conducting research under the supervision of Brooke Andrews on the protective effects of emotional self-efficacy on anxiety and the risk that low perceived control poses in the development of anxiety symptoms. Anxiety is a major concern in the Australian population, even more so amongst females. In 2007 anxiety disorders were the most common mental health conditions reported, affecting 14% of all people aged 16 to 85 years (ABS, 2012). Despite these figures, empirical research on anxiety risk factors, protective factors and outcomes are largely lacking. We are currently looking for females aged 18 and over to complete our online questionnaire package. If you have approximately 25 minutes to spare, please follow the link below to participate. All responses are anonymous and you are free to withdraw from the study at any stage before submitting the questionnaire. limesurvey.ballarat.edu.au/index.php/83846/lang-en Thank you for your time and participation, Rhianydd Shakeshaft and Gillian Cassar
