Hello Everyone! Well of all the things I have done in my life such as creating a successful biotechnology company involved in cutting edge genetic research, Nothing I repeat Nothing has received the accolades I am receiving for preparing to launch a coffee shop! Take away my Caribou will you? Replace it with Peets Coffee &Tea? Close the doors yet again? The solution: Get a couple of friends and open our own darn shop with the best elements of Caribou yet better and hipper! We the owners are all successful businessmen in our own right (and live in the neighborhood) with a passion for coffee and creature comfort. We are not your Starbucks or Biggbys coffee shop. We are independent! We want to give the Novi/Northville/South Lyon/Wixom community an experience that they cannot receive anywhere else in the area. For example remember Caribous Fireplace (artificial)? How about 2 REAL gas fireplaces with one of them being two sided? We will begin by serving Caribou coffees and teas under the We proudly brew program but will have our own No.VI special blends. We will have tasty breakfast sandwiches and pastries and lunch items as well. We will have plenty of Foo Foo (did I spell that right?) drinks. We want the high school kids and will cater to them. We want the tennis moms who play Suburban and USTA (we love them), church groups, entrepreneurs (We will have Robust internet/WIFI and maybe a screen for powerpoints). We want to provide you the type of products that YOU want. We want YOUR feedback. Suggestions? We WILL listen! I will post the progress as we begin building out throughout December. We would LOVE to be open by Christmas but...........we shall see!!! Duane Day
