Hello FB friends! I am using my resource of social media to announce that I am currently looking to hire a talented, hard working and very fun barber/stylist! My long, long story (sort of short)... 27 years ago this week, I was in my first year of barber apprenticeship and found myself looking for a job! One night, I told my friend Gina, that I wanted to work at Tonsorial Parlor because they had cool Christmas parties (no lie), the next morning I went to school and one of my classmates turned around, told me she knew of a place hiring, I (reluctantly asked) where? and no kidding she said Tonsorial Parlor!!! NO WAY! you guessed it, a week later I was the new apprentice! So, many things have happened in my life along the road, including a brief hiatus when i moved to Arizona, but....(there is always a but) 16 1/2 years ago i found myself back in Wisconsin and wanting a new job....you guessed it..The guys at Tonsorial Parlor offered me the opportunity to start my own small business, Shear Genius and rent from them, and there we were together again! Now, the guys have gotten a little bit older and have decided to retire! They are passing the business on to me and on April 1st I will be the new owner of ....Tonsorial Parlor!!! It is a really fun, busy (understatement on both counts) place to work and I want someone to join me as I turn the page to the next chapter!
