Hello FB friends! We are back and cleaning up! A SUPER BIG thank you to Natalie Ellis and family at Tomora Training Center for use of their temp show stalls for my evacuated horses. What a Godsend! I will forever be thankful for what they did for me in this disaster! Another BIG thank you for all Lori Mitchell has done for me during this time. I will be indebted to her forver too. It is so nice of all of you who messaged or called me over the last week to express your concern. I am truly humbled over the amount of friends I have in this world. Love and God Bless you all! Several of you offered to help in person or financially. Surveying the devastation, my husband and I have decided to swallow our pride and accept any donations of time, money or horse items. The barn was not insured for flood (as was the case for most people) and all of the clean-up and repairs will be paid for as we can afford it. FEMA has already denied us. Since I am not able to train (my arena is ruined), I will not have much of an income. Our address is 4020 Empire Street, Evans 80620. Any help cleaning up or fmonetarily is greatly appreciated (we will have a lot of lumber to buy!). The horses lost their winter blankets, water troughs, feeders, halters, and grain (the hay shed was on high ground and spared). If you have extra horse items, they would love to get them.
