Hello Facebook Friends!!! Today is Tuesday and it was Willy’s day to go shopping for goodies for the store again. It has been another really busy day. First a delivery from Highland, there is lots of fresh milk and other dairy products available. Then it was the second delivery from PepsiCo, the initial order was not complete, somehow things got left out especially for the La Luna Café, but that was taken care of today. Then it was on the road with Willy. Willy had to shed his fur coat because it was so hot. He is still complaining about not having air conditioning in his hat and shoes or better yet a misting system in his hat. We informed him that he has not seen anything yet; Kansas can get a lot hotter than it was today. He said that he wants to go north for the summer, instead of being a snowbird and going south for the winter he wants to be a snow seeker! I would imagine the North Pole may be the only place that is cool enough for him in the summertime. He managed to make it through the day; the truck air conditioner causes the clutch to stop working so we had to use the old fashioned kind of air conditioning, “2-60” two windows wide open going 60 miles per hour. Willy said that he learns something new every day, he has never heard of “2-60” or “4-60” air conditioning but he said it was enough to keep him from melting into a puddle. Willy was able to bring in Fresh Vegetables and Produce such as head lettuce, bananas, strawberries, and apples to add to all of the other produce that is available. There are still some ripe bananas on sale so you can make the recipe for this week or any other banana recipe that you like. He also brought other items to help restock the shelves. When he returned to the store this afternoon, he was glad to see so many people taking advantage of all of the new Pepsi products that the Tampa Trail Stop now has. It was a hot day that made for a lot of thirsty people and the Tampa Trail Stop is there to remedy that situation. He insisted that he had to have an Orange Crush because all of that running made him thirsty too. He also insisted that he now needs his own swimming pool to help with the summer heat. We’ll see if that happens????? What do you think; does he need his own swimming pool???? Like or comment to this post if you think he deserves it!!!!!
