Hello Facebook family, I need your help. I have a prayer request at the end of writing to you if you would but so kindly stick around for it. ;) The past few years of my life have been incredibly defining. It’s been a season of learning, listening, and discovery. I’ve had many questions for God, for myself, and for others. It’s been a time of self-evaluation, growth, searching for TRUTH, and a quest to understand purpose. I believe there comes a moment at some point in all our lives where we can each relate to such a journey. Throughout this process, I’ve discovered how much I have truly delighted in sharing the journey with all of YOU. The lessons we learn along life’s path are golden nuggets of truths that carry tremendous power for each of us. These gems are never intended for any of us to hide or keep tucked away. When Light fills us it is given with the overall design to be shared. You are here to be a City on a Hill! There is a scripture in the Bible that says, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” (Ps. 37:4) In delighting in my Source for all things, I have discovered the desire of my heart…YOU!!! To love you. To encourage you. To help free you. To breathe life on you. To help restore you. To remind you of your worth. To help you see the dangers I’ve painfully learned to avoid. To release the prison doors of your mind. To help you discover the power WITHIN YOURSELF to heal broken places and create the abundant life you seek. Loving you IS my purpose and in doing so I have found fulfillment, peace, and tremendous joy! If I am writing to YOU, if my journey has in some way touched or impacted yours, would you be willing to invest in helping me continue this purpose. James, the brother of Jesus said, “We have not because we ask not.” (James 4:2) In the story of Joshua in the Bible, we find a man who had a close walk with God and was a man of prayer yet finds himself standing at the threshold of a battle and asking God for a favor. He prays a very simple prayer, a simple request - to let the sun and moon stand still. And guess what? God did so by delaying its setting almost a full day!! The moral of the story…NOTHING is too big for God!! NOTHING!! ASK! BELIEVE! RECEIVE! In a recent message I spoke I said, “What’s your dream? Ask! Believe for it! You may find in believing for your dream, you help others discover theirs!” This is my hope in asking for your help today! I would like to create a website where I can devote myself full time to writing to you, recording messages for you, and basically teaching you where to look for answers, i.e. how to hear the voice of God WITHIN YOU! I want to build a career of assisting you in your journey as I learn from my own. I want to devote my time to preparing messages for you that will inspire, encourage, and assist in bringing healing and restoration to your life. I basically want to come along side of you and be your friend. I want to make loving you my full time job and I’m asking for YOUR HELP to launch this path! Over the past year and a half, I’ve essentially been doing this for an online Facebook group I was asked to lead called Women in Christ. During this time, we have gradually grown from 150 beautifully, courageous women to 700 incredible ladies full of God’s light!! The fruit produced inside these amazing women has been tremendous. I have taught weekly and personally counseled these gals to my utmost delight!! No psychology degree, no ministry credentials, JUST SISTERS….JUST LOVE. In order to continue doing this full time, I am reaching out to see who would be willing and feel led to commit to a monthly donation to support the launch of mistirains and the ministry generated from it. With your donations, I will be creating a platform which will allow me to devote myself FULL TIME to assisting others in their goal of knowing God, knowing themselves, and understanding and loving one another. The intent of this ministry is to continue loving, encouraging, and sharing with the ladies in Women in Christ as well as others who are seeking to learn and grow through life’s many lessons. A portion of all donations will go towards the Come Like A Child Foundation. The Come Like A Child Foundation is a humanitarian organization I founded this year with the purpose of assisting children worldwide in the areas of food, shelter, clean water, and clothing. Come Like A Child’s heart beats for the least, the lost, and the last and seeks to be an outreach to children living in poverty and need.
