Hello Family, friends and Facebook family and friends. I would like for you to join me in prayer. As you know there has been a lost of life that has touched all of us in someway no matter what your racial makeup maybe. A great cry has gone out across our nation that can only be answer with prayer. Let us not be so quick to pickup the sword and return evil for evil. This as we have seen is like pouring gas onto an already burning flame. The scriptures teaches us how to respond to those who would do evil and whom to wait for. Proverbs 20:22King James Version (KJV) 22 Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the Lord, and he shall save thee. 1 Peter 3:9King James Version (KJV) 9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. Romans 12:17-21King James Version (KJV) 17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Jesus taught in Matthew 5:44 what to do for those who would persecute you. Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; How do we forgive someone who has taken a life of our child or anyone? I do not know. All I do know is prayer can heal and peaceful protest tempered in love and humbleness changed this nation once before. Our for father suffered a lot of degrading and dehumanizing brutalities for us to have the rights and privileges we have today. We sometimes take these things for granite until something like this happens. We have a responsibility all of us no matter what your skin color, economic standings, or religious beliefs to stand against evil. For we are all one in the eyes of The Lord. So let us pray and touch in agreement for Gods truth to be reveled and Gods justices to rain supreme. Let us pray for those who lie and seek to deceive, persecute, and oppress the week. Above all let us not be conformed to this world and the evil doers. AMEN!
