Hello Fellow Alumni, We thought wed send you a save the date message regarding this years all class reunion. The all class reunion weekend is September 12th and 13th. Well begin at the football game on Friday the 12th to celebrate Friday Night Lights. That night, the Panthers will renewing their rivalry with the Franklin Wildcats. Well have the alumni tent set up at the game for signing in, snacking, and socializing. Once again, we hope to have alumni perform the national anthem. On Saturday morning well be hosting the 2nd Annual Heart of the Panthers 5K at 9:00. The money raised goes toward the Rod Dillon Heart of the Panthers Memorial Scholarship Fund. It should be a super fun event with special prizes and features to recognize Boro enthusiasm and spirit. Youll be able to sign up that morning or at keysports.net beforehand. After the 5k, well be meeting at North Park for a large reunion picnic. The plans are in the making but there will be definitely be food and fun! As well, the state basketball teams of 1965 and 1978 have been invited to join us and be recognized. We will be selling a first ever Springboro Alumni Cookbook at the reunion. Please make a contribution or two, three, four, etc. to the cookbook. Remember to include your graduating class and maiden name, if necessary. If you have any ideas for attracting alumni of all ages to join us for the weekend, please let us know. In other great news!!! The 2nd Annual Springboro Oktoberfest will be taking place the same weekend as our all class reunion weekend. It was a wonderful event last year and were excited to tell you that weve partnered with the Oktoberfest for 2014. All of us who attend alumni events may use our alumni wristband to gain free admission the the Oktoberfest, which is located caddy corner from the old bus garage at the United Church of Christ.
