Hello GBH Volunteers! TV Pledge starts to heat up again in August. August TV Pledge Drive Dates and Shifts: Wednesday, August 20: Airing Australian Bee Gees and Death in Paradise Positions Needed: TV Pledge Operators (5:30-11pm) Sunday, August 24: Airing Dr. Fuhrman’s End Dieting Forever, Chris Botti 2 or Van Heusen Swingin’ Positions Needed: TV Pledge Operators (5:30-11pm) Pledge Operators answer phones and record pledges of support from donors as part of WGBHs fundraising drives. Qualifications • Excellent customer service skills and friendly disposition • Strong command of the English language • Ability to speak loudly and clearly over the telephone • Capacity to hear callers over the phone with ease • Experience using a laptop computer and basic data entry skills Time commitment TV pledge shifts typically range from 5-6 hours. You must be available for the entire shift in order to volunteer. All shifts include time for dinner and training. WGBH is unable to accommodate late arrivals and/or early departures.
