Hello Gems! As many of you already know, Summer B starts tomorrow, June 23rd! It is an exciting time and I just want to remind you that I am here for you if you need ANYTHING. Some quick reminders for you as you get ready to start Summer B • Come to the Pegasus Palooza welcome bash TONIGHT at the leisure pool from 7-9pm! There will be FREE STUFF, and everyone loves free stuff. • The DROP DEADLINE is June 26th at 11:59 pm • Make your Knights email account and check it regularly! • Follow Em’s Gems on twitter : Oteam14_emsgems • Run your social media through reppler. This is a great tool to make sure your social media portrays the best possible image of yourself. Remember, perception is 100% reality to those who do not know you. • Walk around campus to where your classes will be located • Get your Student ID if you haven’t done so already • Get a parking pass for you car! Make sure to register you car first https://parking.ucf.edu/permits/student-permits/ • Start using the free amenities o Get your free scan tron once a day in the second floor of the student union in SGA using your student ID o Use the gym o Get involved with clubs and organizations • Get your textbooks! Email your professor and ask if you can use an older edition. This can save you a TON of money! • Start reading Garbology! • Download the Knight Guide app to be up to date with Pegasus Palooza events and also LINK Loot events! • HAVE FUN and remember, you are all here for school! • Get in contact with your advisor to make sure you are on track.
