Hello, I am looking for a new mechanic. I have been going to Elis on Broadway in East Arlington and Eddie (or Eddy) had done some work on my car. Last time I went for an issue and he said that a few things were wrong and after I paid over $300, the issue was still there. Actually several issues were there. I called back and he said that he can only fix what the computer diagnoses. He also replaced two belts and the car is now screaming! Eddie said he will fix the belts because they are under warranty. I was supposed to bring my car back to the shop today but had to change it to tomorrow for medical reasons and Eddie seemed annoyed. I pay decent money to get my car fixed and want to be treated well and get the problems solved. With that said, does anyone know of a good mechanic in the Arlington area that is honest and reasonable? Thank you!
