Hello, Just a quick reminder that I would like EVERYONE in the show to be at tonights (Thursday) and Sundays rehearsals. I already have spoken to several of you that cannot make it tonight for various reasons. I am okay with that, however from Sunday on I cannot accept any more reasons. The show will suffer if we dont have some continuity and soon! The week of the 19th (next week) we will finally be in the Holland Theatre for rehearsals and will be from that point onward. Please notice that that first week we are blocking by page so not everyone needs to be present each night. ONLY IF they have a role to play on the pages noted on the schedule. This includes all speaking parts, too. The final two weeks, I need EVERYONE at EVERY rehearsal because we will be running the show from start to finish (hopefully) every night. There will be lots of stops and starts but we just have to put it all together now. I need everyones cooperation. I expect the children to sit and watch if they are not on the stage or have some other assigned role. They also need to be aware of where they should be (on deck, for example) so entrances to the stage are on time. I will go over all of that during the blocking rehearsals. Re: TONIGHT You should have all received an email from Cheryl Brandt, costumer, who needs to do a review of what costume parts and pieces you have gathered. Please bring in whatever you have and talk with her. We still need help sewing costumes and painting the set. If you are so inclined, reply to this email and Ill give you the contact information or simply read one of the previous emails you have been sent. Also, on Sunday, much of the set will be ready to be brought up to the theatre and we are asking for volunteers to help carry the pieces from the basement up to the stage. So, on Sunday, instead of dropping off your children if you could come into the theatre to help that would be GREAT! Thank you as always for your cooperation. See you all tonight.
