Hello League of Legends, it seems like, the Garena website itself is broken, so I cant reset my password to Log in to my account and submit a complain thats why Ill just post it here hoping to be noticed with this alarming report weve experienced. I am a Low Level Player in this game and I have to report a very unfair tournament match that happened here in our country (to be specific, Philippines, Manila, BF Parañaque) It is our first time to join Teemo cup, a local tournament for internet cafes which whoever wants to host (March 23, 2014 Sunday). Fortunately, we have one, a very near one and accessible for many players who wants to join around the area. Unfortunately, we lost. So to cut the story short, we registered our players, I was their team manager/sponsor (because lvl 30 rank is required to join, Im still in between 24 going to lvl 25), our 5 players were obviously pretty good, the internet shop had their referee, so.. the game started, and both teams were doing pretty good not until... ATEMPTING TO RECONNECT (there were witnesses that this problem occurred) now, the enemy team had the chance to kill us, the enemy teams place was just 2 rows away from where my team was. Triple kill.. Aced. after reconnecting. thats what happened.. so before that, just to remind us, all legal and decent tournaments have their rules, and players have their rights. respawning at the summoners pool before the game started, the enemy team chatted and said HI WAIT so one of our players responded soon and sent a pause command. Now, while our players were playing fair in the battle field suddenly, our team disconnected, we told this to the referee immediately while the game is ongoing (hoping for a reasonable rematch) and the referee said just wait, youll reconnect soon but the referee did not tell the enemy team to pause, I mean.. I know this is just a game.. but for respect and for a decent tournament, the opponent shouldve pause, or the match shouldve been cancelled right away, and shouldve been back to square 1. Now this made us frustrated, I mean.. a disconnected opportunity cost us one clash. Really, really disappointing and not trustworthy for a tournament host, besides, even though that internet shop was known for its inefficient devices (e.g. internet connection/gameplay connection which is experienced by a lot of players/patron/ customers) we still gave our trust by joining their hosted event, I even told them our lagging experience the day before and they told us that theyre still working on it to avoid casualties which werent prevented at all, I pity not only my team but all the skilled players who registered for 200php and got an unfair game. We felt like, money was just collected in that event. If there will be no other legal actions that can be done to the said experience, Garena should at least have a standard gameplay connection requirement for those internet cafes that would like to host, to avoid these casualties to happen again or just set up an event/convention center where the players can be confident that legal Garena or League of Legends employees will be spectating the game and be fair regarding to any foul and technical casualties while in game, thank you.
