Hello Members: Weve had some administrative questions and/or issues come up - as would be the case with any growing group. As a reminder, please consider Right Speech in whatever conversations, comments or discussions you may care to participate in. We have no need to make personal or take personally anybodys views. The administrators have wide latitude and discretion in removing members and/or posts. For those who may not have read the About description, I have copied it below to remind everyone that this group is not restricted to Buddhists. Anything related to Buddhism, mindfulness, living or dying is welcomed here. I personally have a very broad view of these words which I composed for the purpose of inclusion. As I have posted in earlier messages to members, there are Buddhists who are not bodhisatvas and there are bodhisattvas who are not Buddhists. Hopefully members may read, see or hear something that helps their own lives and the lives of other sentient beings. I began this group in 2013 as a spin-off of a LinkedIn forum named Buddhism in Action begun by Nils Victor Montan and then passed on to me several years ago as the owner and manager. I left LinkedIn (since I dont use it) and invited the forum members to join this group on FB if they wished to do so. I also added FB friends who I knew practiced some form of Buddhism or were interested in Buddhism. The growth of this group has been much more rapid than I expected. Growth has never been my objective. As of this moment, we have 3,937 members. The About description of this group states: This group is not restricted to Buddhists. You are invited to join to share anything about Buddhism or the teachings and practices that have evolved over the past 2600 years from the Buddhas awakening. Buddhism in Action and Non-Action started as a spin-off of a closed LinkedIn forum named Buddhism in Action. Its founder Nils Montan (who reincarnates under a variety of names here on FB) passed on ownership of the LinkedIn forum to me a few years ago. Nils is now back as one of the joint administrators of this group. I created this new FB group on 16 Feb. 2013 and renamed it on 21 Feb. 2013, so as to allow for action and/or non-action. No dualism here! Anything related to Buddhism, mindfulness, living or dying is welcomed in the FB group. We will however kindly stamp out spam, fraud, scams and hate posts - without notice. Gassho & with metta.
