Hello! My friend Melanie Williams as encouraged me to join the deaf world..Im Katherine. :) Im excited to see what I can find and learn from this site! My first language was English, then I learned ASL for a bit but my mom saw that it wasnt improving my English structure so she switched to SEE, Signing Exact English to help me improve with my English, so ever since I have been signing SEE, until I moved to a bigger city with more deaf people. I learned more ASL, and then continued to use both. I am still learning about the deaf culture. Another reason why Im excited to be involved with this. Thanks Mel!:)
