Hello! My name is Jesse, and I am the creator of Wombyn Wyse. I am here to hold space and support for you; to aid you in ritualizing your own self-care; and in satisfying your spirits own unique needs in transition, healing and happiness. I see the strength and beauty of wombyn as ever-present--especially in moments of vulnerability,-- and I honour you in your presence of such. So why Wombyn Wyse? I chose this name very specifically for the creative energy that is connected with and represented by both the literal --as well as the symbolic-- womb. To have a biological womb is to have the potential (depending on circumstance, fertility, and that you choose to do so) to create new life; and the same can be said also for the energetic womb. When we embark on any new project and make a conscious choice to feed our own creative energy, we are partaking in a period of gestation that is energetically similar to that which takes place within the literal womb. Both relationships require intentional energy and care in order to cultivate a healthy connection with either, and the energy of such interactions and intention resides within us in our root/womb chakra thereafter. Without a free flow between both, we may notice that blocks begin to manifest both creatively and/or physically as well, so it is important to mindfully manage both. I understand that at first glance, certain people might not resonate with the term Wombyn, perhaps because it may be misinterpreted as a term that diminishes our value down to that of our biology and our ability to give birth; or others possibly because they may not currently (or perhaps never did) have a biological womb. To these people I say the following: That while you are absolutely free to self-identify with what resonates with you, or reject that which does not--you do not have to have the biological parts to harness such energy, nor do you need to identify as a woman either because its not about that at all. Some men have wombs; some women dont, and some others fall somewhere along the spectrum between--but this matters not to who and what we identify as. When it comes to our roles within our identity and the power we create for ourselves; well, we are not the sum of our parts. For no matter your parts or your identity, we --being anyone and everyone along the spectrum from women, men, non-binary and all that fall in-between-- all can participate with the creative energy of the womb; assuming that is what we so choose to do, of course. All you need in order to do so, is the ability to embrace the feminine energy that is embodied in that of creation. Which does not require any box being marked female if that is not how you see yourself. But together we will create something beautiful and momentous just for you! Always with love, Jesse -- Visionary Birthkeeper; Ceremonialist; Healer; Oracle Reader; Intuitive Coach & Artist at Wombyn Wyse omnismuse.wix/wombynwyse
