Hello Prospective Vendor! I’m writing to you on behalf of the Otterbein Equine Science Event Management class. We are very proud to be hosting, for the first time, the Intercollegiate Dressage Association Nationals, the weekend of April 24th, 2015. This experiential learning course is spearheading the planning, implementation, and organization of this prestigious event. IDA is a college-level team sport where individuals ride an unfamiliar horse through predetermined patterns and are judged on accuracy, obedience of horse, and harmony between horse and rider. This national competition will attract more than 400 competitors, spectators, and patrons. Saturday, April 25th will consist of the Individual Championships, while Sunday, April 26th will determine the Intercollegiate Dressage Association Team Championship. This spectator-friendly event will offer viewing of the dressage competition and a variety of outdoor activities including: food trucks, silent auctions, games, and a trade fair. The trade fair is where you come in. If you would be interested in vending at this prestigious event please respond by email with your interest expressed. You will then receive a vendor informational survey which will need to be completed in full and returned back to me. We will not be asking for a vendor participation fee in order to have a tent at out event, instead we are asking for a donation of one item from your store (of at least a $5 value) to be placed into our silent auction that will be held the whole weekend.
