Hello S.D.A. and welcome back to another school year! I hope everybody had a fantastic summer and I hope you all are ready for a big activity filled semester! Some quick updates: 1. There will be an S.D.A. meeting next week at Mrs. McPhersons pool house on Tuesday August 26th. We will meet at 5:30pm for carpooling in Ewing building room 109. Food, snacks, and drinks will be provided at the meeting. Please bring your $15 S.D.A. membership fee to the meeting. We will be going over the following for the meeting: Upcoming S.D.A. meetings Upcoming State Meetings F.N.C.E. in Atlanta, GA Fundraisers to fund S.D.A. and to get to F.N.C.E. Election of new officers as stated in the Delta State S.D.A bylaws Installation of New Officers Please make every effort to come to the meeting next Tuesday as the meeting will count toward your competency hours and will give us all a chance to meet with your fellow dietetic interns! 2. If youre enrolled in M.N.T I, class will be meeting Thursday August 21st in Ewing 109 from 4:00pm-6:30pm. Mrs. Mason is having trouble accessing Canvas so I thought I would just let everyone know to attend class that day if youre enrolled in that class. 3. This Friday August 22nd, there will be a supervised practice meeting with all of the supervised practice classes. This includes F.C.S. 477, 478, and 479 from 1pm - 3:30pm. This meeting is mandatory and everyone should plan on attending! Also bring competency books so that you may get them organized and presented to your adviser. Please make an effort to attend the meeting next Tuesday if youre interested in getting a leadership role for S.D.A and getting that competency completed.
