Hello Tashi Delek, As most of you know this October H.E. Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche and Namchak Khenpo will be consecrating the Stupas as well as the Ratna Totreng stone temple, 5 elements/Nagas stone temple and the 8 auspicious stone temple. The Stupas are on the ocean now and will be arriving in Oakland before the end of the month. We are beginning to gather the materials to go inside the Stupas. This is a rare opportunity for everyone to gather materials and accumulate merit to dedicate for all sentient beings. Here is a list of what we need: #1 The number one item we need is tons of semi precious stones, jewelry, crystals, bits of precious metals, etc. we need buckets full so all contributions will be greatly appreciated. #2 Sandal wood powder, scrapings, and chips #3 Aloes wood Powder, Scrapings, and chips #4 tons of dried Juniper and dried Cedar, it must be dried out and broken down to just the pine needles if possible. (we need trash bags full) #5 Lots of dried flower petals #6 Dried local medicinal herbs and plants #7 One or two people to volunteer to bring five 5 Gallon buckets full of pure fine dry sand from the a local beach. #8 Saffron #9 Camphor #10 Holy waters from sacred springs from around the world and pure local springs, please put in small bottle used for tinctures and label, you can get them at moonrise or the co-op #11 For the Naga 5 element temple we need beautiful items from the ocean agates, small beautiful stones, abalone shells, mother of pearl, Conch Shells, Coral, all types of shells, etc. Khenpo will be discussing which mantras we will need to roll with Rinpoche and we will begin having mantra rolling sessions before the end of the month. We may also be making some more Tsa Tsas, we already got a lot from Rinpoches Nuns in Nepal All items can be dropped by, before or after, our weekly meditations at the Arcata Veterans Hall Thursdays at 6:00pm or after at 6:50pm if you come by during and dont want to disturb us you can leave the offerings on the counter in the lobby. We have been performing Riwo Sangchod regularly at the site where the Stupas will be placed as the grounds are being further developed.
