Hello, Thank you very much for the add!! Xander is an 11 month male Australian cattle dog/Jack Russell terrier mix. He has brain damage, is blind as well as deaf on his right side. He is a rescue from TN, he was neglected and abused so because of that he is now a special needs puppy. His owner had thrown him out of a moving truck in front of the shelter, he was horribly infested with worms and had an ear infection that disolved his ear canal it was so bad that is caused him to go deaf, the infection had even spread causing him to go blind on his right side too. The vet thinks that he was hit multiple times with a blunt object or even hit/kicked to cause the brain damage. This poor puppy can not even walk straight he is only able to walk in circles and can not keep his head straight. He has a very sensitive stomach and can only be fed a specific dog food brand, he is unable to keep anything else down. Xander was previously adopted by a young woman who neglected him. She agreed to have him altered but a week after she adopted him she aquired a female who was not spayed, nearly 3 months later he was abandoned by this woman very dehydrated, under weight, covered in ash, covered in fleas, missing a whole nail and scared. The only thing he had appeared to have ate was a phone charger wire. He had bruises, cuts and marks on him, filthy ears, his right ear had a bad infection, his white fur was stained yellow by urine and cigarette smoke. Turns out that this woman lied about everything and only wanted him so she could breed. Even the slightly used crate that she was given was now broken with a cigarette burn, a brand new toy box filled with toys that she was given was shredded and ruined with none of Xanders toys in it! He has now gained alot of weight, the cuts and brusing is healed his nail is growing back but still sore, his fur is back to white and free of fleas. He now has trust issues and anxiety but is being worked with to build his confidence. Xander has been through more than enough his whole life but still is a very happy loving puppy with people he can trust and who understand him. Unfortunately he is now having seizures. Xander still needs help, we are asking fellow animal lovers to donate, anything helps and is greatly appreciated! ♥ gofundme/d8ap50 Please like and share Xanders story https://facebook/pages/Xanders-Story/446548212152385
