Hello, Update from my last op - 1st Aug I had a little release - TopicsExpress

Hello, Update from my last op - 1st Aug I had a little release job on my Right hands 3rd and 4th webs - between fingers. Recovery went well and sent home same day. Had to keep hand dry and immobilized, for a week. So that has been my excuse for no dishes and vacuuming for 2weeks :-) First week was sore - like someone paper cutting me between my fingers. But this week Im using and getting the hand going again. Continual race against the body/skin getting tight after not being used for a week or two - in the case of my Right hand. But as time goes on, the regression is less. Last Friday, 1 week, went into hospital for the docs to review and take off the bandage - my first look at it! (And theirs since the op) All was well but they wanted to leave stitches in for another week. So today was back in for another check and they were happy to take out the stitches, as I held my phones torch over my Right hand for extra light :-) All the fancy rooms were being used by more critical patients. So looks like another successful one down! After 4 weeks I have my next review and if right hand is all good, will schedule in an op on the left hands 2nd and 3rd web. Despite doing all the right things and working hard with ots sometimes the body beats us, so hence these minor ops. But always have to be reminded that if I hadnt and dont continue to work hard, the result would have been much worse and more major ops, with often less successful ultimate outcomes. So really we are going quite well and healing fast! In another 4 weeks, no one will be able to tell that my Right hand was operated on :-) Thankyou for your interest and for following my journey! Have a terrific wend! Regards Linden
